A silk press is a non-chemical straightening service typically performed on curly or coarse hair. To achieve a silk press, the hair is shampooed, blown out, and then "pressed" with a flat iron. The process results in hair with a smooth and silky finish, which is how the service got its name. ** Hair must be completely detangled and combed out from braids, twist or anything that had the hair bound ready to start your appointment before the hair appointment.**

Includes: Shampoo/Steam Conditioning Treatment/Blow Dry/Silk Press ***HAIR MUST BE COMPLETELY DETANGLED AND FREE FROM BRAIDS, TWIST, OR WEAVE READY FOR SHAMPOO*** Steam Conditioning Treatment: is moist heat which opens up the hair cuticle, allowing it to absorb more moisture and nutrients. This makes hair more receptive to deep conditioning treatments and oils, resulting in softer, smoother, and more manageable hair.

This makes hair more receptive to deep conditioning treatments and oils, resulting in softer, smoother, and more manageable hair. Trim: Trims are performed on hair when needed to maintain the overall health of the hair. No more than 1 inch or less is cut from the hair. Ideally when healthy hair and routine trims 1/4 of an inch is trimmed.
